Located in the Şişli district on Halaskârgazi Caddesi, this is the home of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The great leader resided here while directing Turkey’s national independence movement during the crucial period between December 1918 and May 16,1919. Among renowned state officials and his civilian comrades, Ismet Inönü, Rauf Orbay, Ali Fuat Cebesoy and Kazım Karabekir gathered in this house to help Atatürk lead the independence campaign. This residence, which witnessed the country’s most significant moment in history, is open to visitors from 9.00-16.00 every day, except for Mondays and Thursdays. Admission is free.
